The First Riverside Floating Museum
in Thailand

In celebration of Krung Thonburi’s 250th anniversary, the antique ship is being brought back to life for the public to explore different areas onboard that convey historical stories using cutting-edge technology to immerse visitors in a virtual past.

The Exhibition

The great and legendary stories of King Thaksin as well as a turning point in Thai history have been presented in an exhibition using interactive technology for visitors to observe and have a wonderful experience.

  

The ‘Sri Mahasamut Ship' floating museum represents the prosperity given by water streams. While boarding this ship, it transports visitors back to the 18th century when Krung Thonburi was a great port on an international commerce route, to educate Thais and anybody who is interested in a pivotal period in Thai history.
